A development economics marathon called « Econothon » is being organized by the World Bank on July 24 and 25, 2019. This program consists of the live and online broadcast of expert discussions around the world. to share the World Bank’s vision of economic growth in developing countries.
On 25 July, according to Ecofin, the program will specifically address, from 8:30 am (Accra time), questions about Africa.
Topics such as access to electricity, the future of work, job creation, inequalities and climate change in the African context will be on the agenda. The Africa program will be broadcast in French.
The program is interactive. Participants will be able to express their concerns, which will be discussed during the event.
