Africa: Tecno Spark 3, the high-end smartphone of 2019 (AITTA)
Tecno’s high-end smartphone has just won the Africa Information Technology & Telecoms Awards (AITTA) 2019. This award has been awarded to its Techno Spark 3 model for its state-of-the-art features and for the positive feedback of loyal customers at its release on the market.
Indeed, the Tecno Spark 3 is the only smartphone awarded by the AITTA this year. It is counted among the most remarkable devices especially to magnify the photos.
« The Spark 3 has an AI that optimizes camera functions, and will be available in Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia », said an official statement to Zoom Eco.
Every year, AITTA celebrates customer service, innovation and excellence in the telecom and information technology sector in Africa. It has been recognized as one of the most prestigious platforms for excellence and innovation in the African telecommunications and technology sector.
Tecno became, after its launch in 2006, the leading brand of smartphones in Africa and the leading dual SIM phone provider on the continent. This positioning enabled it to reach, in 2011, an incredible 53% market share of all African sales of high-performance smartphones, equipped with advanced technologies and at attractive prices.
The popularity of these smartphones throughout Africa is also due to their exceptional value for money.
Transsion’s brand portfolio, Tecno Mobile’s parent company, includes leading brands of mobile phones for emerging markets. In 2018, it sold 124 million mobile phones worldwide. Which ranks Transsion, according to IDC figures for 2018, the fourth largest mobile phone brand and holds the largest market share in Africa.
Its global sales network covers more than 70 countries in emerging markets, including Nigeria, Tanzania, Kenya, Ethiopia, Egypt, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Vietnam and Bangladesh.
True to the brand’s motto, Expect More, Tecno is committed to providing as many users as possible with access to the latest technologies at an affordable price to open up a world of limitless possibilities.
Tecno Mobile is also the official partner for the tablets and smartphones of the Manchester City Football Club.
