The marquee of the Pullman hotel has been transformed into the inaugural day of the sixth edition of the French week of Kinshasa. A total of 49 companies from different sectors were validly represented. The banking sector, private companies, public, services, telecommunications, agriculture, mining, participate in this great annual meeting whose theme this time is « Diversification and transformation, economic dynamics. »
The go for this first day was launched by the outgoing Prime Minister, Bruno Tshibala, who continues to manage the current affairs of the Primature.
He cut the symbolic ribbon in the presence of the French ambassador to the DRC; François Pujolas, President of the Federation of Congo Enterprises (FEC) Albert Yuma; the President of the Franco-Congolese Chamber of Commerce, Ambroise Tshiyoyo and many other authorities.
It was followed by a visit of stands by these authorities to open the exhibiting village. Finally, the inaugural ceremony will conclude with the official speeches to be delivered respectively by the French Ambassador, the President of CCFC and the Prime Minister.
The day of Thursday, June 13, 2019 provides for two major conferences. The first in the morning will focus on the theme: « Towards a new economic momentum, role of diversification and transformation. » The second, in the afternoon, on « Financing SMEs in Africa, which actors? Which targets? «
Finally, workshops on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and mines are planned.
