The Congolese Association for Access to Justice (ACAJ) recommended that the Minister of PT-NTIC conduct a credible investigation into the abuses of telecommunication companies operating in DR Congo. According to this NGO, several people blame the cartel Vodacom – Airtel – Orange – Africell poor network quality.
According to Me Georges Kapiamba, « this is the high rate of call failures, call interruptions, blank or inaudible calls, delays in connection failures and excessive downloading, losses without cause communication credits or megabits, repeated losses of network, a prohibitive taxation of services compared to the one they practice in other African countries including the DRC’s neighbors … »

In its correspondence to the Minister of PT-NTIC, ACAJ recalls seizing telecommunications companies by a letter dated May 13, 2019 asking them to dialogue with citizens who complain about the poor quality of their services and improve them.
« Except for Airtel Congo, who spoke with LUCHA in Goma, and the other companies ignored our call, » lamented Georges Kapiamba.
This situation requires, according to the Congolese Association for Access to Justice (ACAJ), that the ARPTC conduct a credible investigation into the non-compliance by telecommunications companies with their specifications. What constitutes an abuse of monopoly and sanction the culprits in accordance with the laws of the Republic.
