The French Post and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (ARPTC) has announced the implementation of a new pricing framework for data and voice services. In an announcement made on his Twitter account, the telecom regulator in the DRC indicates the beginning of consultations on tariff modelling are underway.

« The regulator announces the launch of consultations on the modeling of the voice and data tariff. The ARPTC is initiating these consultations with a view to setting up a new tariff grid in January 2020, in accordance with the commitments made by the ARPTC college, » says the senior management of this institution under the supervision of the President of the Republic.

In recent months, subscribers of certain mobile telephone operators have been complaining about the deterioration in the quality of services provided by mobile networks. The cost of data and voice is not as unanimous among subscribers.

In addition to the new pricing grid, ARPTC is also committed to regularly identifying the best network operator in terms of the quality of services offered to consumers.

To achieve this, ARPTC President Odon Kasindi has resolved to engage the various stakeholders in a frank dialogue that leads to real and lasting solutions.
