DRC – Belgium: President Tshisekedi received by King Philippe
On an official visit to Belgium, Congolese Head of State Felix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo was received, on Tuesday 17 September 2019 at the Royal Palace, by Belgian King Philippe.
His Majesty the King of the Belgians was himself at the peron to welcome his distinguished guest. After the face-to-face meeting, the king and the president were joined in the middle of the day by their wives for an interview followed by a working lunch.
The meeting was to end with an official photo with Queen Mathilde and Congolese First Lady Denise Nyakeru.

Félix Antoine Tshisekedi was also honoured in front of the memorial of the unknown soldier. He went there to bow down and pay tribute to all those who gave their lives for the kingdom.
