The official dressmaker of the DRC’s national football team, KMSI has, in a letter of 22 June 2019, invited the Congolese Football Association (FECOFA) to respect its commitments. The contractor Seth Kikuni has made a formal notice to Constant Omari for non-compliance with the contract, solemnly signed on May 22 in Kinshasa.

Indeed, the company KMSI committed to dress the players of the Leopards and all the staff members during matches of the Africa Cup of Nations edition 2019. In return, the FECOFA, through the Leopards, should advertise of this brand of clothing.

However, says Seth Kikuni, the disappointment was great to see that the leopards were dressed as agreed at the meeting of June 22 against Uganda.

At the base, he rebels, the apparently deliberate refusal of the President of FECOFA to communicate to KMSI the information concerning the hosting of the national team, the sizes of players and the technical staff.

However, in order to meet its commitments, KMSI had to incur additional expenses to place the order with surplus, forward packages, deploy its staff, and hire a designer on site to meet the post-confection requirements of players in Cairo in Egypt.

« This uncomfortable situation compels me to draft this letter in order to comply with the strict respect of your contractual obligations for the meeting of June 26 against Egypt. In the event of your inability to comply with the valid contract, I advise you that I will hold you liable for any damages caused by the breach of contract, « said Seth Kikuni, KMSI Managing Director.

Speaking to the Leopards, in an authentic video circulating on social networks, Constant Omari Selemani seems to have not digested the words of Seth Kikuni in a tweet « assassin » after the defeat of the Leopards of the DRC. He referred in particular to an internal conflict and the continued personal interest of the influential executives of FECOFA who will have created serious frustrations within the national team the day before.

If Constant Omari actually ordered the « unilateral » rupture of this contract because of this tweet of Seth Kikuni, although he must notify him, comment sports analysts, this reaction of the Director General of KMSI is later than the act by the President of FECOFA attesting the obstruction of the execution of the contract binding the two parties.
