The Industry Promotion Fund (FPI) has just introduced an Industry Promotion Tax (IPT) online reporting software. Objective: to improve and simplify recovery procedures for this resource, one of the main ones, of this public institution.

Indeed, this software was presented to companies subject to the TPI / Local during a meeting that took place, Thursday, June 27, 2019, Elis circle of Kishasa. The exchange allowed the FPI to popularize the tool and the company delegates to understand the features.

FPI Deputy Managing Director Boniface Kasembe recommended that industrial economic operators operating in the DRC take ownership of this tool to optimize and simplify their IPT reporting operations.

Along the same lines, the director responsible for mobilizing this tax at the FPI, Gustave Dikizeyiko reassured taxpayers that the launch of this software will mark the first step in a long process of simplification and security of reporting procedures and recovery.

This software, developed by Professor Lunianga, aims at the traceability, completeness and reliability of the data of online declarations of the local TPI by economic operators working in the industrial sector.

As a reminder, the local Industry Promotion Tax (TPI) is generated by the industrial and commercial companies that produce and sell local products. It is not only generated but also paid by the operating company. The collection rate is set at 2% of the industrial cost price of any article produced and / or sold by the company concerned.
