The Prime Minister, Sylvester Ilunga Ilunkamba begins this Wednesday, August 7, 2019, the formal consultations for the formation of his government team. This is indicated in a press release made public to this effect.

According to the protocol services, the first to be received at the Government Hotel will be the Change Cap (CACH) delegates and those of the Common Front for Congo (CFC), represented respectively by the first vice-president of the National Assembly and Acting President of the Union for Democracy and Social Progress (Udps), Jean Marc Kabund in Kabund and National Deputy Nehemiah Mwilanya.

Each of the representatives of these two platforms will be leading a delegation of ten people.

Thursday, August 8, 2019, announces the release, it will be the turn of political groupings of CACH and those of the FCC.

For Friday, August 9, the Prime Minister will consult the forces of the nation namely: religious denominations, the National Association of Portfolio Companies (ANEP); The Federation of Congo Enterprises (FEC), two women’s delegations; two youth delegations and two delegations of people living with disabilities.

« On the same Friday, the FCC and the CACH will develop and approve the draft lists of Government candidates because of three candidates per ministerial position. Draft lists will be handed to the Prime Minister in turn on Saturday, August 10, 2019, « the statement said.

Recall that a few days ago, the representatives of the FCC-CACH coalition announced the end of the talks leading to the formation of the government which, according to the terms of the agreement, will have to include 65 members in total.
