DRC: Huawei technology ready to support the implementation of the Digital Plan
Sophie, the deputy director of Huawei Technology in the DRC has affirmed the support that this company intends to bring to the DR Congo for its emergence in the digital domain.
She said so in an interview with Zoom Eco, on the sidelines of the work on the validation of the National Digital Plan by 2025.
Indeed, this activity is an opportunity for Huawei to accompany the Congo to implement its national digital plan.
« We are supporting the Digital Plan for 2025 not only with our phones, but also with the entire ICT sector in which our society operates, including education, fiber optics, telecommunications and so much more. We provide all the solutions. But it will depend on the urgent need of a Head of State. We already have a Plan, so this activity will allow us to have the information to focus on the area that is more urgent for the country, « said Sophie.

As a reminder, these historic works for the DR Congo’s digital future have several objectives, including modernizing the administration and pooling resources and infrastructures in order to achieve significant gains in terms of efficiency and effectiveness.
But also to allow citizens and businesses to interact online with the public administration and partners; and to offer users better quality services to reduce costs and deadlines, plus the guarantee of maximum transparency.
This validation workshop of the National Digital Plan is organized under the high patronage of the Head of State, Felix Antoine Tshisekendi, from Tuesday 3 to Thursday 5 September 2019 at the Grand Hotel in Kinshasa.
