The Minister of National Economy, Acacia Bandubola and the Deputy Minister, Didier Okito Lutundula, have immersed themselves in the working conditions of the agents and executives of the Administration of their sector. The incumbent has promised to get involved in improving these conditions. This is to ensure that the administration functions optimally. This followed a working visit to the General Secretariat for the Economy on Thursday 19 September.
« We have come to realize the conditions under which the administration operates. We are a little perplexed by the observations made on the spot. In the coming days, we will take the necessary measures to ensure that everything happens under the right conditions, » Acacia Bandubola briefly stated.
The Secretary General of the Economy, Célestin Twite, said he was confident that the wishes of the agents and executives of the National Economy Administration would be taken into account. For him, it is imperative that the men and women of the General Secretariat for the National Economy be placed in optimal conditions so that the Republic can function.
« During the meeting with the Minister accompanied by the Deputy Minister of National Economy, we raised our concerns with these two line authorities. They promised to react within a reasonable time. We have also received specific instructions and guidance on the proper functioning of the Economy Administration. Precise instructions have been given on the action plans to be implemented in the short, medium and long term. This is in order to address major challenges affecting the economic sector, » said the Secretary General for the Economy.
For the administrative staff, the visit of the minister and the deputy minister is a moral comfort as long as they have been able to see the conditions in which they work.
Célestin Twite explained: « A first contact meeting was organised with the various department heads, who are none other than the heads of departments. Each of them has declined the missions that are his or her own. An inventory has been drawn up. Change will not come through the use of a magic wand. After the inventory has been drawn up, a series of actions will be carried out in the short, medium and long term. It is a process that requires the support of political authorities and those of the national economy administration. »
Since taking office, Acacia Bandubola Mbongo has been personally involved in the smooth running of her sector. A few days before meeting with the administration, a contact meeting was held with members of his cabinet. It is a question of giving clear guidelines to each other to better serve the Republic.
