Prime Minister Sylvestre Ilunga Ilunkamba has begun consultations on the formation of his government team. Last weekend, he traded with Vital Kamerhe, the moral authority of the Union for the Congolese Nation (UNC) party and CACH’s heavyweight.
According to an official statement to Zoom Eco, the discussions focused on the consultations on the formation of the Government as well as on the emergency works of modernization of the infrastructures within the framework of the Program of 100 days initiated by the Presidency of the Republic.
Given the imperative of time, Vital Kamerhe reassured the Prime Minister that the various political groups, members of the ruling coalition, are already working to propose the names of their candidates for various ministerial positions.

A formal approach, when we know that even if there is an agreement FCC-CACH, the Prime Minister is constitutionally invested with full powers to form his government.
« The Government is the only place of conjunction of efforts and resources to achieve the objectives set by the Head of State, in his commitment to meet the multiple needs of his compatriots who have massively expressed their confidence during the presidential election on December 30, who are impatiently awaiting the announced change, « said Vital Kamerhe, during his meeting with the leader of the future coalition government.
