Mende: « I concluded that corruption has a bright future in the DRC »

The losing candidate in the election of the governor of Sankuru province, Lambert Mende Omalanga has just expressed his disappointment in relation to the reality of the conduct of this indirect polls. However, he refused to accept this sporting failure, which he describes as « corruption ».
In a reaction given to our colleague at Actualité.cd, he can not explain why an independent, close to the UDPS, prevails in a context where the FCC, his political family, has 22 of the 25 deputies provincial .
For him, it is clear that the constituents of the Common Front for Congo (CFC) sitting in the Sankuru Provincial Assembly have betrayed.
Lambert Mende

In fact, out of the 25 provincial deputies, 17 voted for the independent candidate Joseph-Stéphane Mukumadi, including 11 PPRD deputies and 6 other political parties. Only 8 voted for Lambert Mende Omalanga including 6 of the United Congolese Convention (CCU) and 2 others.

This leads some to suspect that this attitude of the voters would have been motivated by corruption.
Never mind, Lambert Mende took note of this failure and intends to visit Sankuru soon to thank his base for his unwavering support.
