AFROCAN: the Leopards of the DRC sacred champions of the 1st edition!

The male leopards of the Democratic Republic of Congo have just won, this Saturday, July 27, 2019 in Bamako (Mali), the first edition of the Afrocan 2019. They beat in the final the Kenyan men’s basketball team on the score of 82 against 61.

This victory of the Congolese comes after a course without any defeat in this competition during which they beat all the teams met on their way.

Afrocan Mali 2019 is the first edition of this international basketball tournament reserved for players playing in Africa.

The next edition of this competition is scheduled for 2023, two years after the flagship competition of Africa, the Afrobasket.
