DRC: case 15 million USD, Tshisekedi reiterates its support to Kamerhe

The President of the Republic reiterated his unwavering support for his Chief of Staff. For Félix Antoine Tshisekedi, Vital Kamerhe is not concerned in this case of 15 million USD of the discount of petroleum products.
« First of all, it’s not about diversion. It’s about retrocommission. I received the Chief Inspector who confirmed this to me. And he did not mention anyone’s name, contrary to what is reported in social networks, » said the head of state in response to a question from TV5 Monde journalists.
With no evidence of misconduct from his chief of staff, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi claims that he was simply clumsy in his attempt to stop the irregular investigation by the Inspector General of Finance (IGF).
« He was right to do it when deep down. Because the IGF acted as prosecutor and exceeded their mission, » reassured the President of the Republic.
In this regard, the Inspector General of Finance was questioned by the Head of State. However, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi was unhappy to learn that he had been threatened.
It is up to him to specify: « I reassured him, and he told me that this is a retrocommission, and not a misappropriation in the strict sense of the word. »
This is the first time that the Head of State has pronounced himself, after his spokesman, on this case, which, according to some observers, was close to being criticized by critics against his chief of staff, while the IGF report identified the people who benefited from this discount and those who took it out of bank accounts.
« Many are waiting impatiently for the results of the ongoing investigations to definitively fix the skeptics and/or those who resent Vital Kamerhe, the common target of all those who see their occult interests threatened, » commented a sociologist and CACH sympathizer.
