Félix Momat Kitenge has been deputy minister in charge of the Budget since Monday, August 26, 2019. He has earned the confidence of the Head of State, Félix – Antoine Tshisekedi and Prime Minister Sylvestre Ilunga Ilunkamba to be appointed to this post. This young political actor, a member of the Common Front for the Congo (FCC), holds in his ministry the Deputy Prime Minister Jean Baudouin Mayo Mambeke of Cape Town for Change (CACH).

Indeed, Felix Momat Kitenge is a PhD in Gynecology-Obstetrics. This young Congolese also has several hats and his skills are spread over a very large bed.

University professor and associate of the higher education in Medicine with mention « greater distinction and acclamation of the jury », he supported brilliantly his thesis of aggregation in 2017 after having followed a regular course since 2005 with the university of Lubumbashi.

In his career, he has been a consultant on several occasions at the Ministry of Public Health before recently serving as « Senior Advisor » to the last Honorary Minister of Public Health.

His accumulated experience over the years and his eloquent skills in ministerial cabinets, adds his assets as an economic operator. As such, Félix Momat is promoter of the private company « Sifia-Afia-Services ».

To reinforce his managerial skills, he has perfected himself through several trainings notably in Project Cycle Management in Brussels in Belgium, in Management and Business as well as in Emergency Medicine and Disaster Management in South Korea.

Félix Momat is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Health Services Development Fund / DRC. He is promoter and president of the NGO « Medical care for street children / DRC ».

It is he who will carry out his ministerial responsibilities under the authority of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Budget. They share the responsibility to meet the challenges related to the priorities of the Government including preparing a Budget Collective before the draft budget for the year 2020, the two projects to be passed to Parliament before the close of the budget session that s’ opens on September 15, 2019.
