Closure of public revenue tap holes for channeling them to the treasure for maximization and restoring the public administration’s central role in supporting the optimal functioning of the state. These are the two impacts of the action that the Prime Minister, Sylvestre Ilunga Ilunkamba intends to impel in the fight against corruption.
Prime Minister Ilunga Ilunkamba made this Thursday, July 25, 2019, a working visit to the premises of the Congolese Observatory of Professional Ethics « OCEP ».
He was received by the Chief of Staff of the Minister of Civil Service, Mr. Nlandu, and the Director General of OCEP, Professor Saint Augustin Mwendambali.
Ilunga Ilunkamba has thus visited the various departments that make up the OCEP, notably the management of operations, human resources, good governance and the Calme Center.
A visit that not only surprised but delighted the CEO of the OCEP who did not miss words.
« This visit, an opportunity for the Prime Minister to realize how the OCEP works. Also, this follows the recommendations of the Head of State on the fight against corruption, « he said.
For the Prime Minister, this visit is a strong signal of his plans for good governance in the DRC.
By listening carefully to the explanations of the head of the OCEP and its agents who freely expressed themselves, he had a clear idea of how to take concrete action for his future government.
