DRC: Katumbi holds « red pen » to rate FCC-CACH government

Lamuka Coalition Coordinator Moïse Katumbi Chapwe returned home on May 20, 2019 with a red pen to rate the coalition government of the Common Front for the Congo (FCC) and Cap to Change (CACH) coalition. Speaking of himself in front of the press, in the third person singular, this former political exile claimed that he remains opponent to make a republican and demanding
opposition.
« There is the prime minister who will form his government. We can help our country without entering the Government. Moise Katumbi is not going to enter the government. On the contrary, he will have a red pen. So, where it is good, we will congratulate, where it is bad we will criticize and propose solutions, « he said.
By contrast, Republican « demanding », Moise Katumbi also wants to ensure the effective abandonment of corrupt practices, trading in influence of people who claim to be family members and / or close to such a privilege within the institutions of the Republic and for management for the interest of the Congolese people.

To him to specify: « when I was at the Governorate, here in Katanga, did you hear me work with my sister, my brother, my aunt …? We must avoid these anti-values. Change is all of us. It’s you, it’s me. We will have to do what is good to enable the country to move forward. Today we are of the opposition. But we must push the government to do good things for the country. »
It is in peacekeeping that Moïse Katumbi welcomes with great optimism this opening of the Head of State, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi, which allowed him to return to the country. He is proud to have participated in the liberation of the Congo and contributed to the holding of the elections, without endorsing a third term.
