KMSI Groupe and the Congolese Football Association (FECOFA) represented respectively by Seth Kikuni and Constant Omari signed this Wednesday, May 22, the clothing support agreement to Leopards football for the CAN 2019. The ceremony took place in the Showbuzz room in Kinshasa.
This is an initiative launched by Seth Kikuni to dress 65 people, players and staff, three jackets each brand Özel Trendz for a total amount of 77 000 US dollars. Hence, the theme of the campaign: « Dare to shine with Özel Trendz. »
« If we decided to focus on sport in general and football in particular, if we chose to accompany our national team to the CAN Egypt 2019, it is first because the sport has always been for us a real source of inspiration. As a company, the terms found in the field of sport such as determination, motivation, discipline, preparation, team spirit, collective victory guide us every day, « said Seth Kikuni.
The other reason mentioned by the owner of this line of clothing is the fact that he considers the national team as the « hard cement » of national unity.
To him to specify: « at this moment when many people seek to take refuge behind their inferior and subjective identities, the national team offers us the ideal framework to forget our differences and limit ourselves to our superior and objective identity: to be Congolese. »
The President of FECOFA, Constant Omari said he was very honored by this offer of a son of the country.
The terms of this agreement provide that players and staff members of the national team dress in Özel Trendz and FECOFA stamped jackets during the period of the CAN 2019. This makes this label, an official dressmaker Leopards Football.
If for FECOFA this solves a sartorial problem of the national team, for KMSI, it is a gain of visibility of the mark Özel Trendz. Of the total cost of this donation, US $ 77,000, nearly US $ 10,000 will be used to communicate this partnership.
