Allô Services is pursuing with determination its goal of instilling in Congolese youngsters the love of their homeland, the Congo. This structure organized its second cultural school outing, on June 20, 2019, for students from grades 4 to 6 at the primary school of the « Friends of the Child Jesus » school.
Indeed, the activity took place in two stages. First, at CinéBuzz located near the Socimat Roundabout in Kinshasa where students had the opportunity to watch a patriotic film. « The love of the fatherland is a call of conscience », was the theme chosen for this activity.
« The tragedy of our time is that many Congolese do not know their homeland. We must feed them with the knowledge of the homeland, beginning with its history, its riches, the beauty and the purity of its landscapes on the earth given to us. We inherit it from our ancestors and we borrow it from our children, « said Rita Masengo, initiator of Allô Services.

The motivation remains to inculcate in the youngest the love of the homeland, the respect of its emblems and the knowledge of its heritage so that they honor the Congolese culture.
From CinéBuzz, they went to the site where the monument of Patrice Emery Lumumba is located in the municipality of Limete. Objective, to allow these students to better get a picture of their patriot who has campaigned for the independence of the DRC.
For Allô Services, the goal was achieved as most of these children who did not know the national hero Patrice Emery had the opportunity to understand the meaning of his patriotism and his struggle.
« The great figures of our country’s independence are good role models for our students. We teach them this during Civisme. This activity allowed them to get an exact idea about each of these personalities. They have certainly learned lessons about the struggle of Lumumba and his companions. And this creates a motivation for everyone to love more his homeland and his neighbors, « commented the director of the school, Mrs. José Shimba.
