The Federation of Congolese Businesses (FEC) commits its members to the payment of the special conventional tax for the reconstruction of the city of Kinshasa. She has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Kinshasa provincial government. Objective: to provide the capital with substantial resources to restore its most beautiful dress of yesteryear.
Indeed, it is a tax introduced for the benefit of the provinces by Ordinance Law No. 18/004 of 13 March 2018. This tax, which is already operational in the eastern provinces, is collected from economic operators. As a result, the involvement of the FEC was necessary for a judicious support in its perception.

In his statement, the Chief Executive Officer of the FEC, Kimona Bononge, recalled that the results of this work in the Commission had two objectives, namely to give Kinshasa the means to implement its policy and not to suffocate the population by limiting the products that will be affected by this taxation.
For his part, the Governor of Kinshasa City has announced that a major project will soon be launched in four pilot municipalities, namely Gombe, Bandalungwa, Lemba and Lingwala. Kinshasa Bopeto is the concept around which all his vision is focused.
Thanking the Congolese employers for their collaboration, Gentiny Ngobila promised to come back to this structure to settle some other issues such as the payment of the sticker which is a problem in the city of Kinshasa.
