The governor of Lualaba province, Richard Muyej Eat, awarded scholarships and graduate scholarships to thirty laureates of the 2018-2019 session of the State Examination. This action is one of the priorities of his government program, namely: education.
The beneficiaries of these scholarships will go on to pursue their higher and university studies at the International University of Cyprus, the island of Cyprus, the University of Sousse in Tunisia and Bel University campus of Kinshasa.
For Richard Mujej, unlike last year, the particularity of the scholarships awarded this year by the Province of Lualaba to his worthy daughters and sons is that fellows will be fully supported during the academic course. The other peculiarity, he said, is the fact that the beneficiaries will receive monthly from the Provincial Government, a purse of 300 US dollars.
In their speeches, the representative of the Provincial Director of Secondary and Vocational Primary Education (EPSP), the representative of the International University of Cyprus and the coordinator of the « Reason for Living » Foundation, have, in turn, encouraged the students of Lualaba to work hard to be part of future beneficiaries of these scholarships.
The awarding of these scholarships was organized during a colorful ceremony called « Na zui diploma. Many Laureates from Exetat 2018-2019, along with their family members, had answered the call.
The members of the provincial government and local elected officials, just after the speeches, proceeded to the awarding of the bonuses to the laureates. To encourage the girl to enhance herself by taking studies seriously, Governor Cathy Yav Mujing’s wife presented a special bonus to the four laureates.
This custom institutionalized by Governor Richard Mujey to grant scholarships to young people is appreciated by the notables of the province of Lualaba. It helps, they say, to generate competition among Lualaba students and gives young people in this province access to quality training and thus contribute to the future development of their province.
